Tripcount application is a very powerful cost-sharing tool and is not just for travelers. It will also be useful to organizers of any projects and events that involve budget sharing. This app will allow you to keep track of your finances and distribute them fairly costs in most situations. Its important feature is the flexible management of budget shares, which allows to take into account the difference in the needs of all participants, for example, when jointly purchasing fuel, alcohol, cigarettes, goods for children. After all, as a rule, not everyone needs these goods.

You can use the application for free, both for evaluation purposes and as participants in real joint projects (trips) created by the user of the paid application (Master). Registration and paid features of the Master are required to create these joint trips and invite participants. Thus, no matter how many people participate in your event, you only need one Master, who in turn can create several trips at the same time, but not participate in them himself.

Here's a small example. Three girls decided to have a hen-party, splitting the costs equally. Jessica paid 180 euros to rent a house. Madeleine rented a limousine with a driver, paying 105 euros for it. On the way to the hen-party, they stopped at the mall. Noira went to the supermarket and spent 135 euros on snacks and alcohol, while Jessica looked after herself shoes for 30 euros, which Madeleine paid for her. At the end of the party there was one whole bottle of wine for 15 euros, which Jessica took home.
Who owed whom and how much in the end? If you are not strong in accounting, then you will not get the correct answer (no one owes anyone) quickly. And in the application it takes only five lines in the payment table.

What you can do for free:
- Receive an invitation to a demo trip and see a case study of the application.
- Download the demo trip archive as an XLS spreadsheet and see the app's internal mathematics in detail.
- Become a member of a trip created by a user of the paid version (Master). In this case, the Master does not necessarily travel with you and participate in finances.
- As a member of the trip, take into account payments and expenses, both your own and other travelers, see the final balance, as well as manage the exchange rates of the currencies used and set the rules for the distribution of costs. Which of the above can be exactly you, the Master determines.
- Sign up for an account on the mobile app and enjoy a 30-day free trial with all the features. This offer is valid once for the one device and not applied to browser version.
What a paid version user can do:
- Create shared trips in the number determined by the fare plan. To create an override, you need to delete one of the old ones.
- Invite participants to trips and set their rights.
- Manage your account, transfer the application to another device or change the tariff plan.
- Archive trips as spreadsheets, if available in your plan. This feature is very useful if one of the participants wants to personally verify the correctness of the application's calculations. In addition, archiving past trips and deleting them from the account will allow you to create trips unlimited.
- And also use all the features that are available to users for free.

Payment terms, refunds and user support
- Payment for using the application is carried out by subscription for a period from 90 days to a year with the possibility of renewal.
- The application is provided by the developer to the user «as is». The developer does not guarantee that the application will meet the user's goals and expectations. For evaluation purposes, mobile application users can enjoy a 30-day free trial, and web application users can opt out within 48 hours.
- New users of the mobile app are given a 30-day free trial period. This feature is provided once per device. After this period, the user can choose a tariff plan and pay for a subscription. Payment is final and non-refundable.
- Web application users have the right to unsubscribe and refund within 48 hours after the funds are blocked when first paying for a tariff plan by two-stage scheme. To do this, you must send an email to the address support@tripcount.click, indicate your personal account number and the reason for unsubscribing. In other case the blocked funds are debited in favor of the developer after 48 hours, the payment is considered final and non-refundable.
- Renewal of a subscription with a transition to a tariff plan with an increase in opportunities is allowed at any time. Renewal of a subscription under the current tariff plan or with the transition to a tariff plan with reduced features is allowed in the last 30 days of active subscription.
- User support via e-Mail is optional and is provided in the XXL tariff plan.
Limitation:
- The application supports several interface languages. But it does not automatically translate the data you enter. Therefore, no matter which interface language each participant chooses for themselves, you need to fill out the payment details in a language understandable to all participants.
- If an already posted payment contains the wrong amount, purpose, currency, its exchange rate, or cost allocation rule, you can fix it. But you can't fix the date, time, transaction type, and payer. In this case, the erroneous entry should be deleted and a new one created.
- If you have refunded payments for general needs, such situations form chains of transactions that allow their subsequent deletion only from the end. You cannot delete a transaction without deleting all of its return pays.
- You can't remove members after the first recorded payment. If a traveler was added to the list by mistake and you do not want to make all payments again, reset their share in all cost sharing schemes to zero and deactivate them.
- You have 6 currencies at your disposal, one of which is the balance currency. You can choose it only before the first posted payment, as well as the names of all currencies used.
- The exchange rate in relation to the balance currency must be monitored and changed manually throughout the trip. Automatic tracking of exchange rates is not provided, since they depend on your banks. But you can always see and use actual forex data.
Where to start (Master role)
- Get invited to the demo trip and see practical bookkeeping examples.
- Register an account using your e-Mail.
- Receive an e-Mail with a link and a QR code to activate the aссount. If your mailbox is not accessible from the device where the app is installed, you can scan the QR code.
- Activate the account and get a 30-day free trial (for android app only). If you're happy with it, before the end of this period, choose and pay for the plan that suits your needs. The unused balance of the free trial will be taken into account.
- Create and name a new trip.
- Add all travelers to the trip, give them names and set their permissions.
- Define up to three cost allocation rules and name them.
- Select balance currency.
- Set up other currencies and their rates in relation to the balance currency.
- Send invitations to all participants.
- And you can start counting the costs.
Our application is developed for the browsers and Android platform. But if you have an iPhone, you can also take advantage of the promotional offer. To do this, temporarily use someone else's Android device, install the application, register an account, and then transfer it to the browser version on your iPhone.
